Born & raised in Wilkes-Barre in 1996 Brett Mackiewicz A.K.A Louie-B always had a passion & ear for music. It wasn’t until late 2014 when Lou decided to take his thoughts & struggles and put them on paper. He Found a different kind of love when turning his own story into lyrics. “Writing music, has helped me release all my built emotions while helping me find who I am as a man over the years. I knew this would be my career once I started to write my own lyrics and tell my story. Growing up as a child in a low income family, watching my single mother work 3 jobs to support her 4 sons and still struggle to make ends meet motivated me to find a better way to rise above poverty. I knew there was more to life than what it had to offer us at that point in time. For me, Music is more than making money. It’s a Lifestyle, there’s a story behind it, It’s about Turning my dreams into reality. I didn’t choose music, Music choose me.”
